Event Profile
IP EXPO is an information technology trade show held annually in both London and Manchester.
IP EXPO hosts 6 events under one roof, including: Cloud and Infrastructure Europe, Cyber Security Europe, Data Centre Europe, Data Analytics Europe, DevOps Europe and Unified Communications Europe.
A platform for vendors to show off new technology, connect with customers and provide educational and informational training sessions. IP EXPO is well attended thanks to the presence of high-profile exhibitors like Microsoft,Amazon, VMware and Google.
As well as technology vendors, the event also offers attendees the opportunity to watch noteworthy speakers. In past years these have included world-famous hacker Kevin Mitnick (2013) and inventor of the World Wide Web Tim Berners-Lee (2014).
What to expect from the survey
Our survey was delivered by our own consultants over the 2 days of IPEXPO Europe in October 2015. All of our results have been pooled toagether form the CIO’s and Senior IT Proffesionals that we met and discussed their strtagey with.
The survey is broken down into 2 sections.
Section 1 – The Current State of Play
As people like IDG Research and Gartner start to talk about the 3rd Compute Platform and the fundamental changes in how IT is aligned with business outcomes. We wanted to know how people felt about their current state of affairs when it comes to Data Storage, Backup and Recovery, Virtualisation and Cloud technologies.
Section 2 – Business Priorities 2016
With the changes being brought in by Cloud, Mobility and Big Data Analytic’s, we wanted to find out what really is the priority for organisations as they head into 2016.
